Prereqs for Core DBA

Hi Friends,

As per my experience, inorder to become good Oracle DBA, These things should be must.I have followed this Heirarchy.

(1) Hardware

(2) Network Administration( Minimum Knowledge)

(3) System Administration (Linux,Solaris, HP-UX, IBM-AIX and Windows)

(4) Oracle 9i or 10g SQL and PL/SQL

We can straight away can learn the Oracle DBA with out knowing Basics of above things. But inorder to have good command over Core DBA,it should be must.

My Next post in the Oracle 10g DBA will be coming soon, It is related to what are all the Topics i am going to cover in the Oracle 10g DBA.

Thanks and Regards
